A Tribute to Our Lady Elk's
There is a Saying that behind every successful man is a good women. Well also behind our successful Lodge is a great Organization, The Lady Elk's Auxiliary. They were established as a part of our Lodge in 1986. They help with our lodge in every way possible. Below is a list of just a few ways that they contribute to our lodge & our community. Provide a snack bar at Bingo every Sunday, Sponsor a Fathers Day Breakfast, Assist with the Hillbilly Float & Hillbilly raffle, provide a Library of books for reading, Annual Valentines Dance, Annual Luau Dance, provide entertainment, coffee, donuts, bowling for Nursing Home, sponsor monthly potluck for membership, sponsor annual rummage sale, sponsor Taco Night twice a month for membership, sponsor Tree of Joy & assist with Christmas Basket Program for the needy, provide scholarships for local students, & donate to & assist with many other community projects. Our Lodge would not be what it is today with out the Lady Elk's. Thank You Ladies!
Purpose
The purpose of this organization shall be:
.To assist Elks Lodge #2705 with its various social and civic projects.
.To assist such worthwhile projects of the community as the membership may deem wise to undertake.
Membership
Membership in the organization is restricted to the wife of an Elk or widow of a deceased Elk in good standing.
. Annual Dues are $15.00
The Lady Elk's meet on the 4th Monday of every month at 6:30 P.M.
